Make sure your Instagram Reels or TikTok videos are impactful when you post them…

To make sure users can see your videos properly, you need to avoid the buttons and text that are shown on top of your videos in the TikTok and Instagram Apps.

Download this transparent PNG file and import it onto your editing timeline to see where the safe zones are - and the areas to avoid with important visual elements.

1️⃣ Download this handy little template (right click and hit ‘Save As’ or ‘Download Image’ or just drag it to your desktop)

2️⃣ Drop it into your editing software and place it on top of your footage. Reduce the opacity to around 50%.

3️⃣ Anything in your video in the orange areas might be obscured or cropped once you post your video

4️⃣ Don't avoid the orange areas, but try to reposition the most important things in the transparent 'safe zone' in the middle.
